COERR staff organized basic agricultural training for refugees during April June 2010. The topics consisted of organic farming, compost making, and bio-fertilizer. COERR believes that trainings like these will provide refugees with sustainable agricultural skills that will protect the camp environment and also be relevant and useful to them when they eventually return home to Burma. COERR also provides basic agricultural tools; for example, watering buckets, hoes, and rakes and distributes seeds such as okra, pole bean, sweet corn and fruit tree seedlings to refugee participants.
